Travel tryouts for 7u through 12u will take place during the week of October 9, 2022. Each age group will be provided a time slot based on the number of players trying out. Tryouts are scheduled for the following dates:
Sunday, October 9: Players trying out for 8u and 9u for the 2023 travel baseball season
Monday, October 10: Players trying out for 7u, 10u and 11u for the 2023 travel baseball season
Wednesday, October 12: Players trying out for 12u for the 2023 travel baseball season
Tryouts will take place at Booth Field. Players are encouraged to show up at least 15 minutes before their scheduled tryout time to sign in and ensure that the 2023 Travel Baseball Commitment letter is signed and submitted. A makeup session may be scheduled for the following week. A sample reason for a makeup session could include a family vacation, however, makeups will not be scheduled for players who have a game with another baseball club. *** Note*** The travel program traditionally uses an age cutoff system to determine which division a child tries out for. There is an opportunity for some kids who may be young for their grade to elect to play down in age. Please refer to the below age chart if your child has a birthday that gives them the option of playing down in age. (Note this is usually only about 10-15% of the players)
7U = 1st Grade; 8U = 2nd Grade; 9U = 3rd Grade; 10U = 4th Grade; 11U = 5th Grade; 12U = 6th Grade
